How long the quote process takes
For most domestic enquiries, we can arrange a survey within one to two weeks and issue a written quotation within a few working days of the visit. Commercial enquiries take a little longer because the design work is more involved, but we always agree timescales upfront and keep you informed of progress.
What happens after you submit your quote request
Within one working day of receiving your enquiry, a member of our team will call or email to confirm the details, answer any immediate questions, and book a convenient time for your free site visit. For straightforward domestic enquiries we can often arrange the visit within a week. For larger or more complex commercial projects we may need to spend longer planning the site visit, but we will always tell you exactly what to expect and when to expect it.
During the visit, our surveyor will inspect your roof or proposed installation area, take detailed measurements, check the condition of your consumer unit and any other relevant electrical infrastructure, and discuss your goals in detail. They will also take note of any unusual features that could affect the design, such as nearby trees, dormers, or roof lights, and will be happy to answer technical questions on the spot.
After the survey, our design team prepares a detailed proposal. This typically arrives by email within three to five working days, and includes a full system specification, an indication of expected annual generation, projected savings, and a fixed total price. We are always happy to discuss the proposal by phone or to come back for a second visit if it helps you reach a decision.
